Beauty Is Where You See And Nurture It…It Begins With Us

Here’s to another lovely Sunday…Light rain graced the garden yesterday. This morning, I spent a little time with Apollo in the garden moving the little sign, “RELAX, LAUGH, REPEAT” near the blue pagoda. Of course, Apollo posed! He “KNOWS” he’s one ‘photogenic dude.’ (Feature photo)

Transformation on this small piece of property began in earnest a couple of years ago. One of the people who helped me seat its spiritual balance is Zach Johnson. Funny thing is memories from past experiences don’t ONLY get absorbed by humans. Nature, even at the tiniest level, records what IT HAS EXPERIENCED. I knew this was true about my backyard. No matter how much love and attention PLUS special treatments for the lawn I invested in, nothing would thrive there.

Then, one day right before summer began anew, Zach’s wife Lindsay posted an ad on Facebook offering a beautiful selenite lamp he had carved for sale. I fell in love with the stone’s glow the moment I saw it. Not because it was an “interesting light.” No, it held a unique energy that said, “You need me.” So, I reached out to Lindsay, and she introduced me to Zach. As he explained how selenite harmonizes hearts when they gather, I KNEW it would be a perfect addition to my living room. I had recently dedicated my home to being an active expression of my life purpose–Love in Action. I was finally well enough to host gatherings and begin seeing clients for my empowered heart work.

A few weeks later, “Clear Heart,” the lamp Zach carved just for me, arrived.  He smoothed out the usually pointed top; that change softened the way it conducts its energy–inviting touch and connection with the stone and without words, it’s purpose.

A few weeks later, I offered a free Empowered Heart session to Zach after learning more about his work and some of his perceived challenges. He was open to dialogue.  What transpired helped him clarify & better seat some of his goals. During that exchange, I learned of his deep commitment and affinity with Nature and his innate ability to communicate with it. His intuitive gift includes being able to discern what a particular property wants or needs to thrive.

Following that session, I asked him to help me resolve the heavy energy we both sensed residing in my backyard. It was mirrored in everyone’s response when they visited. No one felt at ease even sitting in that area of the lawn. And the lawn, no matter how many landscape improvements were made, wasn’t responding. As we suspected, over a century of dark situations between humans on my land, remained in statis just “below the surface.”  Zach worked with the property for about a week.

During that time, I did a few spiritual exercises to let the land know I appreciated what it had experienced.  About 2 weeks later, Zach and I spoke.  He explained what he’d seen and the work he’d done to help Nature release the past.  During that same time, I sang HU while sitting in that area and invited Light to replace what was once dark.

As you can see from the photos now, the session with Zach helped me (& Nature) shift the land’s energetic tie to the past.  I felt the shift deeply.  Nature did too. Birds began landing in there, hunting for worms and bugs with abandon. About a month later, I was inspired to hire landscapers to help me change the yard’s design by starting over once again. This time I had a clear relationship and understanding that the land was now ready and able to become a vortex of love. In other words, the backyard was now a place where Nature was able to give its attention and contribute to Love in Action in its own way. Slowly, but surely the people perfectly suited to help me “see” and realize that potential entered my life.

Life is full of cycles. Some are quiet, almost invisible levels of activity, other cycles are challenging often appearing, at least at first glance, as though EVERYTHING is BLOCKED. Then there’s the “sunny cycles” when connection, community and coherent relationships blossom. Whatever cycle you find yourself in, remember everyone is learning EVERY day.

Daily I do what I can to place my awareness on love.  Even when it feels like I have no love to give or receive, I take a moment to reassess. If I still feel ‘stuck,’ I reach out to Spirit, request a “new tune” (perspective), insight or purpose. Sometimes I sing HU–a great way to help things change.  Afterwards, the Universe signals “Well done!” by having a friend call me “out of the blue,” or an inspiring idea arrives (Like deciding to create an entirely NEW GARDEN!”

WE are the creators of this living dream.  And beauty is WHERE YOU SEE AND NURTURE IT.  That change always begins with us.

May your “Living Dream,” bring joy and connection worthy of celebration! Happy Sunday…Enjoy noticing the changes of your heart’s true beauty.

Thank you, Gloria, for this gentle reminder that change starts within us. We are indeed the creators of our reality, and beauty truly does blossom where we choose to see and cultivate it. Your words are a beacon of love and encouragement, especially for those who might be in a challenging cycle right now.
