I began my contemplation by singing “HU,” the most sacred and ancient name of God, aloud for a few minutes and then silently sang it within. All the while, I pictured myself as Soul in the large ballroom-like space in the Astral Plane (1st heaven) where I had been before.

A mysterious encounter at a farmers’ market proved to be prophetic, confirming a dream that began when I was two and a half years old. Even though I was a little too young to be admitted into preschool, we were fortunate to have been granted an exception. My mother owned a small restaurant. Having me around would demand too much of her time, energy, and attention, so off I went.

I was reminded in a recent contemplation to be more patient with Oi. Since English is her second language, I would need to give her more time to get her thoughts down on paper. My Inner Guide suggested, “Teach, don’t preach.”
At a local market later that day, I purchased a few groceries including some juice-sweetened cranberries for Oi. As we were unpacking the bags, she asked if I had noticed the company name on the cranberry package. I glanced down and smiled as I read it: “Patience Fruit & Company.”

“The only way out is through.” It was the answer from the Inner Teacher, who appeared in a vivid dream one night in response to my request for healing. I had poured out my heart to the Inner Teacher expressing what had been troubling me for several months prior to this powerful dream.
The chronic depression, challenges with relationships, and suffering from Bulimia that I had been experiencing for over a decade, had become overwhelming. Twice before, I had entertained suicidal thoughts. Reaching my limit, I wished to leave this earth forever.
