These tiny red enamel and crystal beads (pictured above) have been separated by time and space for at least four months. Today, while returning jewelry stored in my safe (stashed there while my home went through another phase of cleansing), one of the missing beads appeared in a different box.
This is not a case of misplacement. In my heart and mind, it is truly a return from spirit. Why do I think this?
Because about four months ago, while dressing after a workout class, one of these beads went flying off and under the women’s restroom counter. It’s a concrete floor and things bounce easily. It’s also gray, so it hides things.
I did not find it nor did anyone who works there find it, in spite of an all-points bulletin and conversations with those staff who routinely clean the restroom.
In spite of slim odds, I kept the one bead thinking that maybe in the future I could find a similar bead at a secondhand store. Divine Spirit did something even more spectacular. It simply returned it. No muss, no fuss.
Isn’t it interesting—the law of balance and economy? I did not get angry. I did however, remain optimistic that somehow I would be able to wear these beads on my favorite pair of silver hoop earrings once again. Although these beads and the hoops they wear are not precious gems, they’ve given me many hours of pleasure. Once again, I am reminded when we let go with love, anything is possible.

Those beads are cool, Gloria. I’m so glad Spirit saw fit to return the lost one. Miracles happen all the time when we’re open like you are!
