Just Ask

Reading Time: 3 minutes

Guest Post by Dennis Ernst

As I was awakening one morning, still in the in-between state of not really being awake or asleep, I realized that my life has been an adventure in “experiencing”. There are more than a few teachers, gurus, and scientists who think that experiencing is consciousness. That’s a pretty interesting concept in itself. Yes, my life is about my experiences in this human state of consciousness.

Announcing “The Golden Book of HU”: Our New Release

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Release Date: August 23, 2024

By Michael Avery and Pichaya Avery

“Your life is but a chapter in a never-ending story.
You are love itself, infinite and eternal.”
—the Voice of HU

When Pichaya and I both began having dreams about a golden book with our names on its cover, we were perplexed. We had no plans to write such a book. When it became clear that the book was to be about the ancient manta called “HU,” we wondered, What can we possibly write about HU that has not already been written?

Shortly thereafter, a surprising thing happened: new information began to flow in from an inner-plane source. Guided by our Inner Teacher, we set off for an unknown destination with only a dozen potential chapter titles to serve as mileposts. Little did we know that our journey would take us to the Temple of Param Akshar on the Soul Plane where a little-known book is located—The Golden Book of HU.

Dreams are Real

Reading Time: 3 minutes

Guest Post by Dennis Ernst

Have you ever wondered how real dreams are, or how real they could be? I had been monitoring my dreams for two or three years and found my experiences to be fascinating. Interpreting dreams, lucid dreams, and waking dreams  had opened many new possibilities.

Some dreams felt more real than my waking life, and others so far removed they were a stretch of my imagination. Then came a dream that put a whole new perspective on dreaming and eliminated any doubt.

Heart Song

For many years I believed I was worth only what I had at the time. I was convinced that my destiny held nothing more than hard times and struggle.

“It’s all you deserve,” I would tell myself. “Don’t think about what you would like to have. Settle for things as they are and forget about it.”

I believed there would only be hardship and struggle…and that is exactly what there was. I did not understand that by limiting my imagination, I was limiting my possibilities. When I finally surrendered these self-limiting ideas, I began to see myself in a whole new light. I discovered that I was, and always had been, a spiritual being. I had not allowed myself to see my true worth.

Can Inner Guidance Come Through Dreams?

Dreams. Some people contend that these are what life is made of. But there are some who say that dreams are simply the effects of a bit of indigestion, or situations from earlier in the day being worked out. Others say that we’re actually living in the dreamworld and that there is a reality beyond us greater than we know. yet others say that dreams are a bridge linking different realities.

The Pure White Heart

My wife and I finally managed to schedule a “get away” weekend on the Oregon coast to escape from our hectic schedules. As I drove the winding road toward the coast, memories of previous trips floated across my mind. On our last few trips to the beach, we had found dark basalt rocks with quartz crystal heart-shapes on them and had some memorable experiences.

The ocean seemed to be a catalyst for these experiences, and I began to wonder what this trip might bring.

Maybe It’s All About “the Now”

When my niece was 6 years old, she lived with us on a pleasant street in the suburbs of Los Angeles. One of our neighbors, Wendy, was cordial and, from time to time, we would socialize amiably.

But, one day, she took me aside looking ashen and said, “I’ve never mentioned this before, but I have these kinds of half-dream-half-premonition experiences. I had one last night. I saw an earthquake, and your little niece was lying on the floor, unconscious, with that huge grandfather clock of yours crashed over on top of her. Please secure it somehow. And do it right away!”

The home of a woman named Ann abuts a wilderness area. She is used to wildlife. But even she was startled when, one balmy afternoon, while she was enjoying a tall glass of iced tea in her garden, she looked up in time to watch a mature bald eagle land on a tree branch not ten feet away from where she was sitting.

At first she was stunned; she was rendered breathless; she couldn’t believe her eyes. But, by the time she contacted me for another perspective, she had become the opposite: unable to stop her nearly manic chatter.

“I know it’s a sign!” she bubbled.

3 Past-life Dreams that Helped Me Heal

Reading Time: 6 minutes

By Pichaya Avery

“Many of our dreams relate to past lives. Once we come to that realization, we can begin to access the experiences that lie hidden within our memory banks. And yes, it is possible to bring hard-won lessons from past lives into the present for a better understanding of our situation in life today.”
—Harold Klemp,
Past lives, Dreams, and Soul Travel, page 73

For as long as I can remember—dating back to 1972—I have always been fascinated by dreams. While there were several sweet dreams—talking to animals, floating in clouds, and flying through the air—there were countless nightmares as well. I was continuously chased by a man with a knife and often died in those dreams. In the middle of the night, I would wake up screaming and wondering, Who am I? and Why am I here?

According to DreamDictionary.org, dreams about horses can symbolize perseverance, courage, strength, good health, and wealth. They can also represent stamina, vitality, mobility, power, prestige, freedom, personal drive, ambitions, and passion.

Horses have been depicted in myths, legends, and popular culture for their sheer beauty and bond with humans. They also inspire poems like the one in this post.
