Guest Post by RJ McBride
“In Search of the Golden Road” is my term for the Journey of Soul as It works Its way through countless lifetimes of trials, tests, pitfalls and snares. Yet for all the hardships, wrong turns, and trial runs I’ve encountered throughout these past 81 years of my existence, the Sound Current of HU (the Music of Life Itself) has never been as clear, the Light of Soul never brighter or filled with Divine Love more than in this moment.
As a professional writer and author, I know the power of words when conveying images of mind, matter, and heart, and yet there are times when a simple poem can do more to capture the illusive essence of where life is leading one. The following poem speaks to the ultimate destination of Soul as It journeys back to its place of birth. It’s called “Coming Home.”
COMING HOME
Not as a roar, but a whisper
Do I hear the message.
Still is the moment,
Pure is the call.
The flame in my heart is but a
Prelude to Thy Holy Fire.
Within, plays the celestial music.
Always there, always loving,
It speaks to the true way.
Come Home, Beloved One,
Return to the One Heart.
Listen for Love’s call…
Become still and listen.

I hear the Call ! Thank you Ray, all 81 years of you ~ not to mention the eons of your unfolding towards the perfect One. HU has been with me too, supporting & nourishing me with its sacred, undeniable clarion call to come home to the source of Soul’s existence in the heart of creation. To the heart of Love itself.
Your poem is as beautiful as Soul in all its glory !

Ray, thanks for sharing a vision of the road, which while less traveled, points us toward our true home.

Thank you, Ray, for your beautiful poem. It opens my heart more to God’s love. Reading this, I can hear the Voice calling my name as I am on my journey back to our true home.
